Founder
Master architect Burak Karakızlı
Burak Karakızlı is the founder of Karakızlı, an architecture studio focused on residential design and the relationship between architecture and construction.
His approach brings together clear proportions, functional layouts, natural light and practical building considerations. Each house in the collection is developed around these principles, with defined configuration options that allow the design to respond to different ways of living.
Through Karakızlı’s new house system, he aims to make considered residential architecture more accessible: customers can explore a design, select their configuration and purchase its architectural package, with the option to commission site adaptation separately.
Studio
Karakızlı is an architecture studio focused on modern houses, villas, and adaptable residential design.
We combine architecture with a configurable house system, allowing each design to respond to different lifestyles, sites, and needs.
From the first plan to the built house, every project is designed with clarity, proportion, functionality, and long-term value in mind.
System
We design our houses as modular architectural systems.
The modular structure allows each home to adapt to different needs while keeping the design, construction details, and building process clear and consistent.
By reducing unnecessary complexity and standardizing key elements, we aim to make construction faster, more predictable, and more cost-efficient — with fewer decisions and fewer problems on site.
Approach
We believe good architecture should feel simple, timeless, and natural.
Our work is shaped by clear proportions, functional layouts, intuitive circulation, and a strong relationship with light, views, and the surrounding landscape.
We prefer honest materials and thoughtful details, creating spaces that are calm, durable, and designed to age well.
